On November 23, 1945, President Ho Chi Minh signed Decree No. 65/SL on the preservation of historical relics nationwide; on November 24, 1946, he opened the First National Cultural Conference with the thesis: "Culture illuminates the path for the nation to follow." Since 2005, November 23 has been Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day; from 2026, November 24 will officially be Vietnam Culture Day according to Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW. These two consecutive days affirm that heritage is something to be preserved, and culture is the path for the nation to move forward.
