At a meeting on the city’s socio-economic performance in August held on the morning of September 4th, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Nguyen Van Duoc shared the city’s growth results during the first eight months of 2026.
To date, the city’s state budget revenue has reached nearly VND 625 trillion, equivalent to 77.6% of the annual estimate and up 19.2% year on year.This represents 62.4% of the VND 1 quadrillion target. According to the Chairman, the result reflects the city’s concerted efforts amid significant developments and uncertainties in both domestic and international conditions.
