In terms of its economy and main advantages, Artemisa Province is located in the western part of Cuba, with a prime location next to Havana, the country's capital, and a view of the Gulf of Mexico. Founded in 2010, the province is a vital corridor for ecological conservation, naturally endowed with fertile plains, and has a rich history of resistive transformation. The Mariel Special Development Zone (ZEDM), a landmark national initiative for economic, maritime, and logistics infrastructure that serves as Cuba's strategic trade gateway to the globe, is the main driver of foreign direct investment in Cuba. High-tech industry, the production of building materials, renewable energy, agriculture, and food processing are currently the province's main areas of strength.

High-Tech Agriculture and Food Security: Transferring advanced agricultural cultivation technologies, and partnering in high-yield production projects for rice, staple crops, and processed foods to supply the market.
Renewable Energy and Circular Economy: Driving investments into solar energy projects, industrial waste management, and implementing carbon emission reduction solutions toward green, sustainable growth models.
Advanced Healthcare and Biotechnology: Exchanging expertise and facilitating the integration of Cuba's hallmark biological products, medical biosubstances, and therapeutic pharmaceuticals into Ho Chi Minh City's specialized health screening facilities.
Governance and Digital Urban Infrastructure: Cooperating in the exchange of e-government administrative solutions and developing digital infrastructure for specialized economic zones and satellite towns surrounding the special development zone.
