The event was attended by leadership from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ho Chi Minh City, along with 135 international delegates from 35 sister-city delegations representing 15 countries. Among them, 13 localities sent high-level leaders, and 10 localities sent department-level officials, alongside representatives from international organizations, experts, business leaders, and policymakers. Together, they gathered to exchange experiences, foster connections, and expand cooperation opportunities toward sustainable development, innovation, and shared prosperity.
Through nearly 20 bilateral meetings and a diverse range of activities during FD 2024, the City successfully secured commitments regarding scholarships, energy, clean water, Metro Line 1, and investment attraction into the High-Tech Park. Most notably, the City announced four strategic commitments to sustainable cooperation and realized the concept for the HCMC Friendship Symbol, set for unveiling in May 2025, elevating the City’s global profile.
