After more than a year of implementation, Resolution 57 has created positive changes in the awareness and actions of ministries, sectors, and localities. According to the assessment at the Conference reviewing the 18-month implementation of Resolution 57, numerous mechanisms, policies, and action programs have been issued, step-by-step translating the Resolution’s guidelines into concrete tasks and solutions, thereby contributing to creating a new driving force for socio-economic development and elevating national competitiveness.

Ho Chi Minh City is the first locality in the country to issue a Digital Data Development Strategy, identifying data as a new resource and a critical foundation for developing digital government, the digital economy, and digital society. AI and the semiconductor industry are identified as strategic technology sectors in the implementation process of Resolution 57 in Ho Chi Minh City. According to the City's plan, the Department of Science and Technology coordinates with relevant units to promote infrastructure development for AI, AI data centers, enhance high-quality human resource training in AI, microchips, and semiconductors, while building an innovation ecosystem to step-by-step master strategic technologies.
