Ho Chi Minh City leads the country in attracting FDI
(Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper) - According to the Foreign Investment Agency (Ministry of Finance), Ho Chi Minh City ranks first nationwide in attracting foreign direct investment (FDI), including foreign indirect investment (FII).
According to the report, in the first seven months of the year, the total registered investment capital, adjusted capital, and capital contributions through share purchases and equity investments by foreign investors in Vietnam reached over 38 billion USD (an increase of 58%); the disbursed capital is estimated at over 15 billion USD (an increase of 12%).
