Ho Chi Minh City develops its own set of criteria for smart, green, and unique hotels.

(Vietnam Enterprise Magazine) - Ho Chi Minh City is currently seeking feedback on a draft set of criteria for recognizing smart, green, and uniquely styled hotels in the city. This is seen as a pioneering step to create a legal framework to promote digital transformation, green transformation, and diversification of tourism products. Ho Chi Minh City: Promoting the greening of public transport and urban areas.

(HTV) - Ho Chi Minh City has officially launched the Public Transport Development Project for the period 2026-2030, aiming to green the entire bus and taxi system and complete 187km of urban railway.

The project "Strengthening public passenger transport combined with controlling private motorized vehicles in the period 2026 - 2030" aims to increase the percentage of people using public transport to 15-20% of their travel needs by 2030.

To realize this goal, the city has set out a roadmap for greening all public transportation. Specifically, by 2027, 100% of inner-city buses will switch to using electricity or green energy. Finding solutions for building a smart city for Ho Chi Minh City.

(Nhan Dan Newspaper) - On the afternoon of August 20th, the Ho Chi Minh City Association of Construction Science and Technology and the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction jointly organized a seminar on the theme "Solutions for building and developing smart cities in Ho Chi Minh City".

This is one of the key activities aimed at concretizing Decision No. 4714/QD-UBND dated July 29, 2026, of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City on the goal of transforming into a smart city and developing sustainably according to the green growth model.
