Ms. Lucia Gurbalova currently serves as the Deputy Mayor of Košice, the premier economic, cultural, educational, and scientific-technological center in eastern Slovak Republic. Graduating from Pavol Jozef Šafárik University with a degree in Pedagogy and Social Management, she possesses extensive expertise in public administration, social welfare development, education, and urban cultural management. In her capacity as Deputy Mayor, she plays a central role in steering modern educational development strategies, improving public service quality, promoting social equality, and preserving cultural heritage alongside urban eco-tourism in Košice. Furthermore, she is an active partner in strengthening traditional friendship ties and promoting cultural and educational exchanges, as well as sustainable development cooperation between Košice and Vietnamese localities, particularly Ho Chi Minh City.
