Mr. Sok Thol currently serves as the Deputy Governor of Siem Reap Province, a premier cultural and heritage tourism center and a key strategic locality driving the economic and service development of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Graduating with a degree in Public Administration Management and Urban Governance, he possesses extensive experience in local government administration, sustainable tourism planning, and connectivity infrastructure development. In his capacity as Deputy Governor, he plays a key role in directing smart tourism development strategies, preserving the Angkor World Cultural Heritage site, promoting modern urban infrastructure, and elevating the quality of tourism and commercial services. Furthermore, he is an active partner in maintaining and strengthening traditional friendship ties, driving cultural-tourism cooperation, and fostering people-to-people exchanges between Siem Reap Province and Vietnamese localities, particularly Ho Chi Minh City.
