Mr. Va Than currently serves as the Governor of Kratie Province, a major economic and commercial hub located in the northeastern region of the Kingdom of Cambodia, playing a key role as a strategic trade gateway on the economic corridor connecting with Vietnam. Bringing a modern urban governance mindset along with extensive experience in public administration management, he has led Kratie Province to achieve significant milestones in advancing transport infrastructure, developing high-tech agriculture, managing natural resources sustainably, and enhancing international investment attraction. In his capacity as Governor, he is a pivotal force in consolidating traditional friendship ties, driving comprehensive cooperation, and fostering cross-border people-to-people exchanges between Kratie Province and Vietnamese localities, particularly Ho Chi Minh City.
